HURRICANES SPRING TRYOUTS 2010

Tryout fees are $20 per player per session.

The locations listed are:
RBC - Brampton Powerade Centre, RBC Rink
Maple - Brampton Powerade Centre, Maple Lodge Farm Rink
TWR - Brampton Powerade Centre, TireWorld Rink
MSC A/B - Milton Sports Centre, Rink A or B

Please read the following information affecting these tryouts. It is important that everyone is aware of these changes/updates.


1)       No player within the SCTA region shall be granted a AAA Waiver without first attending and participating in tryouts of their respective home centre.

2)       Ontario Hockey Federation [OHF] wants to ensure you are aware of four OHF Regulations that were amended in 2008 and that impact all future spring and summer hockey tryouts. Changes were made to the following OHF Regulations: Regulation E29-35 AAA Waivers, E91 Player Transfers, E98 Player Development Fees, and G3 Tampering.

The new wording for each regulation can be found at www.ohf.on.ca and, for convenience posted below, with the key implications for associations/clubs and players.

3) Players are reminded that the Hurricanes require either a) permission to skate form from the player’s home centre if player resides within the Halton Hurricane Zone or b) all appropriate AAA Waivers if from outside the Halton Hurricane Zone in order to try out.
